Translational Gastrointestinal Cancer

Translational Gastrointestinal Cancer (Transl Gastrointest Cancer; Print ISSN 2224-476X; Online ISSN 2224-4778) publishes articles that describe new findings in the field of translational research in gastrointestinal cancers, provides current and practical information on diagnosis, prevention and clinical investigations of gastrointestinal cancers. Specific areas of interest include, but not limited to, multimodality therapy, biomarkers, imaging, biology, pathology, and technical advances related to gastrointestinal cancers. Contributions pertinent to gastrointestinal cancers are also included from related fields such as nutrition, surgery, public health, human genetics, basic sciences, education, sociology, and nursing.

The aim of TGC is to provide a forum for the dissemination of original research articles as well as review articles in all areas related to gastrointestinal cancers. It features a distinguished editorial board, which brings together a team of highly experienced specialists in gastrointestinal cancers treatment and research. The diverse experience of the board members allows our editorial panel to lend their expertise to a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal cancers subjects. The entire submission and review process are managed through OJS system, an electronic system, which provides an efficient way and ensures a rapid turnaround of papers submitted for publication.

TGC is an open-access, international peer-reviewed journal with a focus on cutting-edge findings in this rapidly changing field, while providing practical up-to-date information on diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of gastrointestinal cancers. It is published quarterly (Apr. 2012- Oct. 2014), bimonthly (Jan. 2015 -) and openly distributed worldwide.
