Welcome to the Hwasun International Laparoscopic Gastric Surgery Symposium

Published: 2013-01-07

The Hwasun International Laparoscopic Gastric Surgery Symposium will be held on 19th-20th April, 2013 at the Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital, Jeollanamdo, South Korea. This conference is to celebrate the successful achievement of 2000 cases of laparoscopic gastrectomy in Chonnam National University Hwasun Hospital, and to share cutting edge of laparoscopic gastric surgery from malignancies to other benign diseases. More than 20 experts of laparoscopic gastric surgery from different countries will participate in the conference as speakers, and approximately more than 300 Korean gastric surgeons are expected to attend the meeting.

Together with the scientific committee of the Hwasun International Laparoscopic Gastric Surgery Symposium, Translational Gastrointestinal Cancer is going to launch a Focus Issue dedicated to the symposium on “Laparoscopic Gastric Surgery”. As an active platform of academic communication worldwide for the Hwasun International Laparoscopic Gastric Surgery Symposium, we are confident that this focus issue will further circulate cutting-edge knowledge of laparoscopic gastric surgery. This Focus Issue will come out in April, 2013 and exhibited at the symposium.

Following is agenda of the symposium:
