As a member of the Surgical Oncology team for the University Medical Group and the Multi-Disciplinary Clinic at Greenville Health System in Greenville, SC. Dr Trocha provides cutting edge and often radical treatment for cancer patients. Dr. Trocha specializes in the treatment of Hepatobiliary Pancreatic (HBP) and liver melanoma and sarcomas. Receiving his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin then doing his residency in Louisiana, he went on to do his fellowship training for melanoma and scarcoma at the John Wayne Cancer Institute of Santa Monica, California. Dr. Trocha recently worked with Project Amazonas and the American Embassy on a humanitarian medical trip to the Amazon. He sits on the National Board of Medical Examiners as a Step 3 Question Writer. In March of 2014, Dr. Trocha became the first doctor in SC to successfully perform laparoscopic removal of lymph nodes on a melanoma patient.
