Objective:
To investigate the expressions and significance of zinc finger protein 139 (ZNF139), MMP-2, MMP-7, ICAM-1 in in human gastric carcinoma cell lines SGC7901 and SGC7901/ADR.
Methods:
The expressions of ZNF139, MMP-2, MMP-7, ICAM-1 were determined with RT-PCR and Western blot in in SGC7901 and SGC7901/ADR cell lines.
Results:
The expressions of ZNF139, MMP-2, MMP-7, ICAM-1 were higher in SGC7901/ADR than in SGC7901 (all P<0.05). In SGC7901 there was positive correlativity between ZNF139 and MMP-2, ZNF139 and ICAM-1, MMP-2 and MMP-7, MMP-7 and ICAM-1 protein (all P<0.05). In SGC7901/ADR, positive correlativity was found between ZNF139 and MMP-7, MMP-2 and MMP-7 protein (all P<0.05), and no other statistical correlativity was found.
Conclusions:
ZNF139 may be involved in invasion and metastasis of gastric cancer by regulating MMP-2, MMP-7, ICAM-1 genes.
