Abstract

Extramedullary plasmacytomas are uncommon and represent 5% of all plasma cell tumors. Upper respiratory tract is the most common site. Pancreatic involvement is rare. When localized, pancreatic plasmacytomas have a good response to radiation. When they occur as part of multiple myeloma, their outcome is dismal. We present a case of obstructive jaundice due to pancreatic plasmacytoma as the initial presentation of multiple myeloma.
