40. The effects of intraoperative warming on incidence of surgical site infection in radical gastrectomy
Objective: To research the effect of intraoperative warming on SSI.
Methods: 86 gastric cancer patients were randomly divided into
two groups: The experimental group, including 54 patients, taked
forced-air warming blanket and warming measures in the procedure
of transfusion and rinse solution; the control group, including 32
patients, T interfered with nothing. Record the correlated indexs in
the two group operrations and detect the change of IL-8 by using
ELISA method.
Results: (I) The core tempertraure at the end of operation: The
experimental group (36.5±0.4 ℃) was significantly higher than the
control group (35.3±0.3 ℃) (P<0.05). The incidence of SSI: the
experimental group (3.8%) was significantly 142 lower than the
control group (18.6%) (P=0.02). The temperature and incidence of
SSI after operation showed Positive correlation (P=0.001). (II) IL-8
and incidence of SSI concention of IL-8 and the core tempertion
after operation showed significant correlation (P<0.001) . The
incidence of SSI increased with the decreasing of IL-8.
Conclusions: The combined warming can decrease the incidence
of intraoperative low temperature and the incidence of SSI after
operation.
